The article discusses urban gas supply systems as a complex set of facilities, technical devices and pipelines that provide gas supply and distribution between industrial, municipal and residential consumers in accordance with their demand. Also analyzed the hierarchy of urban gas supply systems in the construction, which is linked to the classification of gas pipelines.
