State national policy in conditions of Russian ethnic federalism: sociological cross-section (case study of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia))

The article presents a public reflection on the socio-eth-nical processes in the sphere of state national policy of Russia, taking place in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The area of study includes determining of public assessment of interethnic relations in the region, specifics of the identity system and the extent of public support of the idea of a united Russian nation formation. The results of this research indicate the presence of a complex structure of social relations in Yakutia, which are determined by not only ethnic, but also regional and even territorial factors, which enable coexistence of Arctic and republican identities within a single region.
