State support of small innovative business at the regional level (based on materials from the Bryansk region)

The article examines the system of state support for small businesses in the country. At the present stage of development of market relations of our state it is necessary to form the state policy on development of small business which measures will be more effective in comparison with already existing forms of support. This will allow us to produce competitive products of high quality, reduce the level of dependence on imports from other countries, increase exports of our own goods and, as a result, strengthen our position on the world market. Only under such conditions will the Russian system of state support for business become more effective and contribute to its further effective development. The article examines the state of small business in the region. In the Bryansk region, there are 41 985 small and medium-sized businesses.
