State support for employment in Khabarovsk krai: problems and ways of solution

The work examines the problems of employment of the population of the Khabarovsk Territory of the Russian Federation. This study is aimed at analyzing government programs in support of employment of the population of the Khabarovsk Territory. The positive results of the regional policy in the field of increasing the mobility of the population through labor migration, foreign labor migration, qualified migration of specialists from various constituent entities of the Russian Federation, attracting compatriots to permanent residence in the Khabarovsk Territory are revealed. The actual reasons prompting the population to relocate to other regions have been identified. The paper concludes that high wages are no longer the main incentive for resettlement of the population to the territory of the Khabarovsk Territory from other regions of the Russian Federation.
