State policy for perpetuation the memory of victims of political repressions in Buryatia (1920s-2010s): to the statement of the problem

In the article the author considers the state policyfor perpetuation the memory of victims of political repressions in Buryatia. For the statement of the problem, in the article both all-Russian and regional historiography has been analyzed. During the study of historiography, the author of the article has come to conclusion that such issues as the history of rehabilitation policy in the Soviet Union, the development of rehabilitation legislation, the history of the socio-political movement on protection rights and perpetuation the memory of the victims of political terror are insufficiently studied. During the analysis of the source database, the author has come to conclusion that most of the information was fragmented and put to the documents of different archives and funds. The consideration of historical sources made it possible to characterize the development of the rehabilitation legislation on the protection of the rights of victims of political repressions in Buryatia, as well as to identify the difficulties of the emergence and development of socio-political movement onthe protectionof the rights and perpetuation the memory of the victims of political terror.
