State policy of Russia in the field of gas supply: characteristics and prospects

In the article, the author reflects the most relevant and necessary direction of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of gas supply and gasification of the subjects of the Russian Federation. As part of the regional gasification Program with the participation of Gazprom, the author provides examples of implementation of this direction on the territory of Russia, as well as formulates individual problems in this area. Imperfect legal and scientific methodological framework, lagging in the preparation of consumers for receiving gas, extremely uneven gasification of the territory of the Russian Federation-these are some of the main problems that require further work in this area.
