State registration of the real estate title: comparative legal analysis of laws of Ukraine and the Russian Federation

The article deals with the legal regulation of the state registration of the real estate title, considers types of the state registration systems, and carries out a comparative analysis of such systems in Ukraine and the Russian Federation. A considerable number of publications on the studied issue has been processed, in particular, the researches concerning objectives and systems of the state registration, correlation between the registration of the proprietary right and an agreement, and judicial practice in determination of the date of the real estate lease agreement. Basing upon the undertaken research the author defines principles of the state registration of the real estate title, analyzes the state registration systems in accordance with the laws of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, describes their common and distinctive features, and substantiates the principle of validity of the state registration of the real estate title.
