The article provides a comparative analysis of public-private partnership and municipalprivate partnership. It is concluded that the difference between them is primarily a matter of level: a municipal-private partnership is a type of public-private partnership that is adapted to the local tasks and management specifics of municipal entities. The author’s research provides a theoretical and methodological foundation for this article and presents a comprehensive analysis of the potential and limitations of public-private partnership and municipal-private partnership mechanisms in public and municipal investment policies, as well as the justification of trends and proposals for their development in Russia.
