State and confessional policy towards orthodoxy in the beginning of 1920s

At the present stage, the goal of state-confessional policy is to create conditions that combine to ensure the possibility of the fullest realization of the rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen with ensuring the consolidation and stability of society. In this connection, an objective need arises for studying the state policy in relation to religious institutions in a historical aspect. Our article discusses the main points of state-confessional policy of the early 1920s. on materials of Baikal Siberia.
