State regulation of activities of transnational corporations in Russia

The article highlights the issues related to the impact of transnational corporations on the functioning of national economies. The author considers the influence of transnational corporations on the developing economies as a factor transforming the economic sy ste m and making it more v ulne rable in the condition s of globalization. In this context the demands on the quality of government regulation increase. It should provide the protection from the negative impact of transnational Current Problems of Social and Economic Development of Society and the Ways of Their Solutioncorporations and the neutralization of the potential consequences. This issue becomes especially relevant for Russia in terms of economic sanctions. At the same time, there is a need to assess and use the positive effects that accompany the presence of transnational corporations in the national economy to improve the investment climate and business activity in the country.
