State regulation of socio-economic differentiation of the regions

This paper addresses the problem of territorial differentiation among the regions of the Russian Federation. The basic directions of formation of new regional based on the formation of "growth points" of the economic system of the region. The study examined the targeted measures of state regulation of differentiation in development of the regions, aimed at establishing a new regional policy consistent with the strategic development of the regions and the country as a whole.
