State regulation of population reproduction

The current demographic situation in the Russian Federation makes it necessary to improve the mechanisms of state regulation of population reproduction. The article presents the results of a retrospective analysis of the main factors influencing the increase in the birth rate in Russia and the Kaluga Region as a whole. It is concluded that Russia demonstrates low birth rates, which do not provide even simple reproduction of the population. The measures of state support for the formation of a positive trajectory of reproductive behavior of the population are outlined.
