The article considers the current state of agriculture in the Russian Federation. The existing experience of applying the program of state support of the agro-industrial complex is analyzed. A number of problems of activity in the period of implementation of state programs in the context of the spread of a deadly viral infection are presented. In particular, it is worth noting that agriculture is a continuous cycle of production, it can not stop and go into self-isolation, but a serious obstacle to successful work can be the destruction of some economic ties, which is inevitable due to the isolation of not only cities, but also countries, which negatively affects the activities of small and medium-sized agricultural organizations and farms. Today, Russian agriculture has not reached full self-sufficiency, and, therefore, there is a need to develop measures for long - term, medium-term and short-term.
