Public debt and economic security

The article examines the concept of public debt and the reasons for its occurrence in the Russian economy. Some positive and negative consequences of public debt affecting the economic security of Russia are shown. Risk factors are identified and the existence of a potential threat to economic security as a result of an increase in public debt is substantiated. A conclusion is made about the need to increase budget revenues, primarily based on the development of the Russian economy.
