State and non-state external audit: common and differences

The article deals with the concepts of state (municipal) audit and audit. The concepts are presented through a comparison of these types of audits. The basis for comparison is the general and distinctive characteristics of these types of financial control. The structure of state and non-state audit by levels of auditors activity is also proposed.
