State as a subject of ensuring human security

The article reveals the problems of implementation by the state the measures for ensuring personal security in the main spheres of society, taking into account modern challenges and threats. The author analyzes the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and of federal laws concerning the issues of personal security, and suggests individual directions for increasing the level of political security of the individual as a function of the state.
