A.S. Pushkin's gothic novel "The undertaker" in school study

This article discusses the possibilities of studying non-classical literary genres in the framework of school philological education. The novel “the undertaker” by A.S. Pushkin is presented as an example. To increase the interest of students in this work, the motives that bring Gothic literature closer to the genres of horror and mysticism are noted.
