The article considers the possibilities of economic and mathematical application of the method of geometric interpretation of linear programming problems. In military Affairs, evaluating the effectiveness of the use of weapons for their intended purpose is a reasonable choice, its tactical and technical characteristics, and methods of combat use; military-economic estimating the quality of weapons and the associated task of choice of optimum variant of development of armament and scientifically based planning in the field of military construction, scientific solutions of the planning tasks of the fighting forces, the prediction of the possible course and outcome of combat actions; assessing the effectiveness of embodiments of various organizational-technical measures during the life cycle of weapons, etc.
