Citizen and society: new conditions for a dialogue

In this article the authors propose to take a fresh look at the concept and nature of civil society through the prism of new technologies and current Russian realities, to reveal those factors of its development, which can be crucial in maintaining our sovereignty and internal stability of state system. The classical as well as modern concepts of civil society are considered, the main indicators of the development of civil society have been analyzed, and represents the ratio between the development of information technologies and civil society has been demonstrated.
