Civil legal liability of the real estate registration authority

The article examines the rules of the current legislation dedicated to the liability of the public authority for registration of rights to real estate. The author determines the scope of the relevant norms, analyzes the correlation of the liability measures of the registering authority with related institutions. The author, relying on the materials of judicial practice, reveals in detail the conditions of civil liability of the registering authority: unlawful conduct, losses, causation and fault.
