Aggregator owners’ civil liability when selling goods to consumers

The authors consider the features of the civil liability of the owners of aggregators of trading platforms when selling goods to consumers and the relevant court practice. They analyze the norms of civil legislation and note the emerging tendencies towards the formation of effective methods and methods of protecting consumer rights. They come to the conclusion that, although the courts have developed common positions on the responsibility of the owners of aggregators to the consumers of the services of trading platforms, further improvement of the regulatory framework is necessary.
