Humanitarian components of designing environmental infrastructure

The infrastructure of life support and nature protection is formed in close connection with the mentality of the population. The mentality determines the technical complexity and economics of infrastructure facilities. Using the sphere of waste management as an example, the humanitarian impact on infrastructure construction is analyzed. If the needs of society are perceived as invariant, then efforts will be focused on technologies for the collection, sorting, processing, and disposal of waste. But a critical analysis of the needs themselves is needed, their optimization according to the criterion of minimizing production and consumption waste.
