The Pleistocene strata study of Denisova Cave was continued in Eastern Gallery in 2015. The sediments of lithological layers 9-17 were uncovered over a small area. The layers 11 and 12 are divided into more partitive lithological horizons: 11.1-11.4 and 12.1-12.3 respectively. Archaeological material was found in the all stratigraphic divisions, excluding layer 10 and 17. In terms on the data of technological typological analysis of the lithic industry, stratigraphic situation and absolute dating four main occupational episodes are identified in cultural chronological sequence of Pleistocene deposits in the eastern gallery of the cave. Associated with Early Middle Paleolithic the most ancient archaeological complex originates from the lithological layers 15 and 14. This industry is characterized by centripetal core utilization and predominance of the notch-denticulate component in the tool assemblage. The material from the deposits of the layers 13, 12 and lower part of the layer 11 demonstrate the further development of the Middle Paleolithic industries. They present the use of parallel flat-faced and Levallois flaking and predominance of the different types of scrapers in the tool assemblage. Moreover, the material from the lower part of layer 11 presents the Terminal stage of Middle Paleolithic and perhaps Middle to Upper Paleolithic transition. The lithic industry and adornment assemblage from the upper part of layer 11 are relevant to Initial Upper Paleolithic. Materials with developed microblade technology from the deposits of layer 9 present the Final Paleolithic stage.
