In this particular article, the author proposes an introduction of a new kind of systems, which would allow revealing the nature of sovereignty in the modern Russia. According to this typology, all political systems can be divided into four types: endogenous, endogenous-exogenous, exogenous-endogenous and exogenous. The latter type, which is the result of endogenous development, represents a particular set of official systems, established in Russia since the late 1980s. As a result, their own endogenous elements have emerged and the prospect of their sovereign recovery has appeared. In a way, such analysis would allow interpreting sovereignty of our people, which is prescribed in the 1993 Constitution as declarative, and Russia's sovereignty as rather nominal.
