Characteristics of the "Askiz-Topolevaya" coloniy of the bank swallow from the Abakan river valley (Republic of Khakassia)

The description of the colony of Riparia riparia, located in the valley of the Abakan River near the village of Askiz (Republic of Khakassia), is given. The length of the section of the shore with the bank swallow was about 120 m. This is 55% of 220 m. or the total length of the bank area suitable for burrowing. A total of 182 burrows were recorded in the colony. Of these, 118 or 65% were intact.
