Characteristic of discolorites, state of enamel and care-resistance factors in patients with atopic dermatitis

The purpose of the work was to establish the characteristics of the state of toothenamel, caries resistance factors in atopic dermatitis (AD) in adults. The study was conducted in 38 patients with discoloritis of teeth on the background of AD outside the stageof exacerbation of allergic dermatosis. The comparison group consisted of 46 patients withdyskolorithic teeth, but without AD. In patients with AD, compared with patients who haddiscolored teeth without any allergic pathology, despite the absence of color differences,mineral metabolism and enamel solubility, the structure of the types of solubility and enamelmineralization was disrupted. In addition, patients with AD have increased colonization ofacid-producing cariespathogenic streptococcal microflora along with a decrease in the activityof congenital antimicrobial immune responses.
