In the Samara region, relating to the extreme northern area of growing corn, the limiting factor is the sum of effective temperatures and, consequently, a limited period of the growing season, as well as the amount of precipitation during the growing season. In this regard, the main task of the corn in the Middle Volga, at the initial stage, and is currently a selection, establishment of cold-resistant, drought-resistant and early maturing varieties of hybrids with high yield and rapid return of moisture during the ripening grain. The aim of the study was to determine the adaptive capacity, the level of productivity and harvesting grain moisture new three-way hybrids of corn in the arid conditions of the central area of the Samara region. As a result, an analysis of new maize hybrids from the competitive tests of grain productivity, adaptive capacity and breeding values genotype held in Samara Research Institute for Agriculture in unfavorable soil and adverse climatic-soil conditions of 2012-2015. Highlighted the most corn hybrids adapted to local agro ecological conditions with high grain yield, as well as combining high productivity and a low harvest moisture content of grain in drought conditions.
