Characteristics of the investment attractiveness of the Orenburg region

Making investment decisions is a complex and multifaceted process, and the key point in this phenomenon is the assessment of the attractiveness of the investment object. External factors have a significant impact on the attractiveness of facilities, including industry affiliation, and in a wider coverage area - the region of presence. This article presents the results of an assessment of the investment attractiveness of the Orenburg region in comparison with the indicators of its federal district - the Volga Federal District. The main factors shaping investment activity in the region, as well as its inherent risks, are reflected. Against the background of geopolitical events, the attractiveness of the regions is weakening, affecting the attractiveness of investment facilities operating on their territory. The positive dynamics of investment volumes and the high investment attractiveness rating of the Orenburg Region ensure a high investment potential for its business entities, as well as increased interest due to the introduction of preferential regimes.
