Characteristics of collector-drainage water in Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan

The article presents the modern characteristics of the collector-drainage waters of the Jizzakh region. Currently, there is an urgent need to assess the hydrological and hydrochemical characteristics of surface waters of various irrigated massifs in the middle reaches of the Syrdarya River. On the basis of the information collected in the reclamation expeditions of the above area, data were analyzed on the average annual flow and salinity of water in the main collectors, the runoff of which can serve as an additional source of water resources in the area under consideration. The current values of the runoff of the main collectors were determined and their irrigation quality was assessed.
