Characteristic of image phraseology in the works of German writers

In any language fiction provides a great reservoir of phrasemes that fill the text with emotive content, develop plot and emphasise the climax. The aim of the study is to analyse semantics and subject area of German phraseological units taken as examples from popular German fiction books. The article focuses on different degree of emotional connotation of the analised phrasemes.
