Characteristics of the features of scientific potential in the context of key categories of labor economics

The article reveals the theoretical aspects and essential characteristics of scientific potential as a separate socio-economic category in the system of labor economics and in conjunction with such definitions as human capital, labor resources, intellectual capital, etc. Among the specific features of the scientific potential, the author considers and analyzes in detail the presence of a multi-level system for managing scientific potential, the extended nature of the definition of "scientific potential", which implies the presence of objects of intangible and material nature in this category, the possibility of a multifactorial quantitative assessment of scientific potential, depending on the chosen subject of management, minimizing the influence of subjective factors, etc.
