Characteristics of social and economic development of the Republic of Tyva

The economic structure of the Republic of Tyva is complex and diverse, the region has rich natural resources and human capital, but faces underdeveloped infrastructure. The purpose of the study is to analyze the socio-economic development of the Republic of Tyva and the factors influencing it. Research hypothesis: to determine regional disproportions in the socio-economic development of the republic. Research methods: a comprehensive analysis was conducted to identify the socio-economic indicators of the republic using statistical data, expert assessments and the results of our own research. Research objectives: analysis of the socio-economic indicators of the republic to identify development trends in the region’s main industries. Research results: based on a comprehensive analysis, the main problems of the region’s socio-economic development were identified, such as: underdeveloped transport infrastructure; low wages and housing provision; decline in industrial production indicators; low human resources potential. It is recommended: to create attractive conditions for small business development; develop the agro-industrial complex, manufacturing facilities and tourism; improve the quality of the living environment.
