On descriptive function of verbs in the text «Alexander Nevskiy's life»

The article presents the result of study based on the chronicle redaction of the «Alexander Nevskiy's Life». The process of investigation was based on comparison of contextual meaning of some verbs (i.e. of action, state and attitude) with their semantic verbal structure. It helped to reveal the following variations of semantic derivation process: the verbs of transference, qualitative state and existence (being) function in the text as the verbs of social activity. This characterizes Holy, Blessed, Great Knight Alexander Nevskiy as a socially active personality.
