The article discusses a complicated problem in the field of application of criminal sanctions - determination of the eligibility of admissibility or inadmissibility of chemical castration as a compulsory medical measure against pedophiles. The object of the analysis is pedophilia as a kind of violent sexual crimes, as well as chemical castration as a punishment for such crimes. The author considers the pros and cons of the chemical castration application.
