Chemical measures to control bubble smut on corn in the Rostov region

The article presents the results of research on the testing of protectants on corn against bubble smut. Applying protectants on corn provided significantly fewer infected plants bubble smut of corn, which ranged from 0.8% on option Maxim XL, CS, to 3.1% at the option of Vitavaks 200 FF, VSC. Calculation of economic efficiency of protectants on maize showed a significant advantage of the variant with application of Maxim XL, COP 1 l/t. Conditionally net income in this variant amounted to in the reporting year 4522,4 RUB/ha with profitability 183,1%.
