Chemical and mineralogical composition of some clays in Uvsnuur aimak (Mongolia)

Chemical and mineralogical composition of some clays (white, yellow and red clays) in the area of Khartermes, Uvsnuur aimak was investigated. The data obtained show that clays refer to the polymineral group. Chemical studies have resulted in the fact that the white clay (Аl 2O 3 - 9,58% )is semiacid clay Аl 2O 3 in substance; the yellow one contains Аl 2O 3- 16,11%; and the red one is Аl 2O 3 -14,29%.
