The influence of cobalt sulphate on quantitative and qualitative determinants of Angelica archangelica L. plants was investigated. The content of amino acids, metabolites and macroelements in the roots, and also the mass of plants were determined. It was shown, that application of cobalt sulphate as the solutions of various concentration (50 ml under every plant) result in the increase of plants mass and the content of coumarins, iron and zinc in the roots. The reliable reduction of content of isoleucine, proline and arginine, and the increase of leucine content in the roots were revealed. It was established, that the optimal dose of CoSO4 for A. archangelica plants is 0,005 mg per one plant.
