Hip-hop and underground culture as a modern art

The article examines hip - hop and underground culture as a manifestation of contemporary art. The authors convey the features of hip - hop dance, rap and graffiti - the main components of this subculture, its philosophy, position in life and influence on modern youth. A brief analysis of the complex and unusual history of dance is given, and a study of the structure of hip - hop battles for representatives of this movement is carried out. In the text, the subject of study is a documentary film by Tony Silver, music by Eminem, Grandmaster Flash, an interview from a Volgograd dancer, his personal experience. Based on this material, an analysis is carried out to understand hip - hop, its benefits and significance for the body. A forecast is given for the further development of this direction among the modern youth of our country.
