Surgical tactics in case of proximal biliary ducts' Tumor

The article introduces the experience of surgical treatment of 152 patients with proximal biliary ducts' tumor. 121 patients underwent salvage surgical procedures. Recanalization of the tumor with external biliary ducts' drainage was performed in 78 cases. Percutaneous transhepatic cholangiostomy was done in 43 cases as the final treatment method; in 13 cases endoprosthesis replacement of tumor structures through cholangiostoma was performed. Radical and conditional-radical surgical interference was carried out on 31 patients. 19 patients underwent cholecystectomy, resection of hepaticocholedohal duct in block with tumor and hepatico-ejunostomy performing; 12 patients had cholecystectomy, hepatectomy with bihepatic-ejunal anastomosis. Post-surgical mortality totals 10,2%.
