Because of the close location of tibia to the skin, deep burns of the shin's front surface are often complicated by osteomyelitis, boundary osteonecrosis and by the formation of long-term open wounds. The results of treatment of deep burns of tibia at 86 patients have been studied, conservative preparation of wounds to skin plastic has been done to 42 of them, surgery operations have been carried out to 44 of them: early-stage necrectomy with autodermaplasty of burn wounds. The application of active surgery treatment for deep burns on shin's front surface has significantly improved treatment results and it has reduced terms of treatment.
Osteonecrosis, early necrectomy, tibia, autodermepenthesis
