Surgical tactics in combined complications of duodenal ulcers

The authors analyze the results of the surgical treatment of 307 patients with combined complications of PUD. Patients were divided into 2 groups depending on the applied diagnostic and surgical tactics. The first control group consisted of 168 (54.7%) patients who underwent "traditional” gastrectomy options, the second main group comprised 139 (45.3%) patients who underwent modified versions of stomach resection.
