Transfemoral osteomyoplastic amputation

The technique of osteomyoplastic amputation performance at different femoral levels is discussed. An original technique of amputation has been proposed which consists in femoral medullary cavity closure using osteoperiosteal flaps with further myoplasty and dermoplasty.
