Cold weapons and protective armor in Russian weapons complex in Siberia XVI-XVII centuries (on the graphic sources)

The article, based on visual materials of the XVII century, analyzes different types of bladed weapons and armor used by Russian soldiers during military operations in Siberia in XVI-XVII centuries. The author concludes that the spears, other types of bladed weapons and defensive armament, were important in the complex of weapons in this period, comparable with a firearm.
