Choral culture of Kuban: characteristics and semantic foundations

The article examines current issues in modern culturological knowledge related to the problems of the preservation and transmission of its meaning, and the characterization and classification of species. The content of Russia's cultural code as a unique state-forming phenomenon that preserves viable ideas about the model of the world and the man, historical memory, meaning of life, patriotic and educational traditions is revealed. The article describes the spiritual and moral guidelines and life-meaning values of the Kuban choral culture that influence the formation of its semantic space content. The relevance of the semantic foundations of this phenomenon is emphasized, due to the worldview, spiritual images and cultural code of the Kuban Cossacks. Its semantic features are analyzed, revealing the understanding of the importance of folk memory, heroic, dramatic history and spiritual culture of the Cossacks, in which choral art plays an exceptional role.
