The paper presents some results of the examination of the collections of Nanjing Museum, The Oriental Metropolitan Museum (Nanjing, Jiangsu province) and Shanghai Museum. The brief descriptions of stone sculptures along the “spirit ways” of the tombs of Southern Dynasties, which were observed in Danyang (Jiangsu province), are given. The materials were obtained during the academic trip to Nanjing, Danyang and Shanghai in October 2016.
