Economic and financial activity of the samara merchant head at the boundary of the XIX-XX centuries

The paper considers the annual financial reports of the Samara merchant head for 1894-1913. The author reconstructs the disposition of the monetary capital and real-estate of the Samara merchant society in personal, public and charitable purposes; he establishes the sources of formation of Samara merchants’ self-government budget, the main items of its income and expense.
