In this article the creative works by the Perm writer Nina Gorlanova are considered within the framework of one of the most notable trends of the contemporary literary process – in the context of a new writers’ interpretation of a Christian, Orthodox perspective in the changed socio-cultural situation. The Christian motifs of N. Gorlanova’s creativity are analysed in the context of the poetics and evolution of the writer's creative method: the Christian faith theme is built in the cross-cutting theme of "faith research" and determines changes in the worldview of the author. The traditional genres of religious literature (confession, prayer, life, etc.) are identified as the bases of the works.
