In the article the features of literary interaction between the text of the Epistle of Earth Paradise by Novgorod archbishop Vasily Kalika and context of additions to the Chronograph is investigated. It is concluded, that chronographical genre canon affects on the structure of the text of the Epistle, which was reflected in the Appendix of «the biographical reference».
