On the basis of analysis of the novel Manana written by Dagestan writer A. Abu-Bakar, three main time layers are outlined connected between each other with the help of common topics, characters, symbols, space orientations. The open type of the space (square, group of village people, water source, and other places where people gather and meet) is convenient for represented events in which a great number of people participate.
