Artistic innovation in "memorial" paradigm: "marginal" in understanding Russian postmodernism

In the article the interpretations of aesthetic avant-garde installations in postmodernism-oriented criticism are analysed. The variants of interpretation proposed by B.Groys in his works "Style Stalin", "About new" and "Existential prerequisites for conceptual art" and by D.Prigov in his articles "Sacro-cularization", "What would I like to learn about Russian poetry…", "The portrait gallery D.A.P" are considered. The worldview conception of postmodernism is called "memorial". It is proved in the article that the conception is determined by the typical of postmodernism experience of "stopped" time, the result of which is actualisation of the problem of creative realisation of the artist.
